Book description Edit
Harry Potter has been banged up for ten years in the hellhole brig of Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit, and his traitorous brother, the not-really-boy-who-lived, has royally messed things up. After meeting Fate and Death, Harry is given a second chance to squash Voldemort, dodge a thousand years in prison, and snatch everything his hated brother holds dear.
Harry Potter has been sent to Azkaban for the death of Ginny Weasley, but he didn't even commit the crime. He later learned his twin-brother John Potter as well as Albus Dumbledore being responsible for his demise and couldn't change anything about it. Albus didn't want Harry to fulfil the prophecy, as it stated Harry would become Voldemort's equal and thus way too strong to Albus' likings.
Once Lord Voldemort resurrected, Harry figured out the Horcrux scar connection between him and the Dark Lord and used it to syphon the knowledge of the 70-year-old Tom Riddle to his own brain. He had to survive in Azkaban for 10 years, when Death and Fate arranged a way to meet him through the veil of death. They explained to him that his twin brother John was a time traveller and did not manage to destroy all Horcruxes and the Dark Lord.
Instead, they'd given him the same chance with a Lord Slytherin lordship to boot, so that he could claim any day that he was the real Boy-Who-Lived. Additionally, they warned him to not to rely on future knowledge, not gather too many allies as well as taking as much advantage as only possible. Then they sent him to his 8-year-old with a three years head start over John. Back in his body he first let himself made a wand, before starting to earn money by using his apparition skills to transport drugs from Turkey do Great Britain and selling them locally. Following he contacted Jacob Greengrass, leader of the Neutral faction in the Wizengamot to help him out politically with his Slytherin lordship.
He disclosed himself to him as Harry Potter, the twin to John, told him about a prophecy and Lord Voldemort coming back in the near future. Another part was to hide his identity in the upcoming mandatory winter solstice Wizengamot meeting and he appointed Sunny Greengrass, wife of Jacob as his proxy. In the end, the Neutral faction, now reborn as the Gray with Lord Slytherin's backing managed to sway a lot of Lord's to keep working with them. During his stay with the Greengrass', he learned of their daughter Daphne Greengrass being forced into a betrothal and Harry rescued her from it by becoming the betrothal partner himself.
To further enlarge his harem he contacted by different means Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley as well as Luna Lovegood and taught all three of them advanced occlumency and wandless magic skill. With Daphne, he told all four girls about his time travel adventures so that they would understand why he did it. He manipulated them into trusting him, but he rewarded each of them with great amount knowledge, power and a special lightning bolt ring with minor defences as well as means to communicate with each other via Morse code. For Hermione, he additionally offered her a Slytherin vassalage which would enable him to protect her parents, who would otherwise get manipulated by the wizarding society so they would not blurt out magic being real.
Ginny, he gave means to become magically stronger as well as future protection against the diary and a way to train with her Harry in her dreams. With Luna, he made a consort contract after teaching her advanced Occlumency and wandless magic. The possible fifth candidate in his harem, Alexandra Black had trust issues with Harry and the only connection he could establish despite his manipulations was a book exchange. Everything went well until John came back right after being killed at the Triwizard tournament and his talk with the deities. It surprised him a lot that Ginny didn't trust him anymore, who in his timeline was his girlfriend and suddenly a Lord Slytherin being there.
By investigating Ginny he soon found out, that someone else outside the family had contact with her and he believed her being confunded or potioned and thus not her real self. Any tests though came out negative and once her parents tried to use Veritaserum, Ginny contacted Harry to save her since she did not have means to protect herself against it. Harry managed to slip her some anti veritaserum drops before being accosted by Bill and Charlie Weasley. He managed to escape barely but had a magical breakdown due to unknown reasons.
Last at a birthday party of Alexandra she managed to persuade her father to invite Luna and ask her more about Lord Slytherin since there were rumours of Luna being betrothed to her. She confirmed it and in the following one on one talk Alex learned that she was magically way behind in stuff like occlumency and did regret that she didn't accept Harry's offer to train her in that field. With Harry going to Hogwarts soon, Luna had taken the mantle of training her to make her adapt in advanced occlumency as well as wandless magic.
